Whitney Baker
Hello, and welcome! I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapy Associate in both Idaho and Washington, with over a decade of experience in mental health and social services. Since 2012, I’ve had the privilege of working across diverse settings—hospital, inpatient care, residential programs, intensive out patient and in-home services—helping people of all ages and backgrounds.
I hold a bachelor’s degree from Central Washington University (2013) and earned my master’s from Capella University in 2024. My passion lies in helping individuals and couples in difficult or unsatisfying relationships, whether it’s enhancing communication, voicing unmet needs, or rediscovering a stronger, healthier version of themselves.
Beyond my therapy work, I’m deeply committed to serving those who serve our communities. I have a special connection to law enforcement, first responders, and their families—a connection that goes beyond professional interest. As a family member of a former law enforcement officer and a volunteer firefighter and EMT in my own rural community, I understand the unique challenges and sacrifices involved in these roles. I’ve also completed specialized training for law enforcement and am currently advancing my skills in Crisis Incident Stress Management and Debriefing.
Let’s work together to create meaningful change, build resilience, and move you toward the life and relationships you envision.
